The procedure involved picking horizons and faults in association with structural analysis of the field. Target horizons had been interpreted and their two way time and depth contour maps generated. Due to existence of two different vintages of seismic data with different characteristics (amplitude and phase spectrum), seismic inversion was performed on marine and land lines separately. • Tang-e-Bijar Area including Babaghir and Bankul Fields (TBB)

Tang-e -Bijar Structure is located in the west of Iran (Ilam Province). The geophysical study was accomplished based on available 2D seismic data covering Tang-e-Bijar and its vicinity toward Bankul and Babaghir fields. Approximately 1670 km of 2D land seismic data processing of Tang-e-Bijar project included two main phases of seismic processing pre- and post-migration sequences within time and depth domains. Seismic interpretation was performed directly on the PSDM data with regard to PreSTM and PostSTM 2D seismic lines. Moreover, during seismic reservoir characterization, post-stack acoustic impedance inversion and attribute analyses were conducted on 680 km of Tang-e-Bijar seismic 2D lines. In the geological modeling and risk assessment section, two models were built. The two models provided very important input, not only for the volumetric, but also for the risk analysis of the identified prospects. They were produced using the existing well log data interpretations and the seismically derived depth maps and faults. The project was assigned by ICOFC in 2015.
